Northwest Symphony Orchestra

The Northwest Symphony Orchestra board and musicians look forward to the time when we can safely resume live performances. This fall, we are in the process of preparing virtual offerings and our hope is to present concerts in person in 2021. We have an exciting new season planned and look forward to once again presenting great music to the community:

Sunday, April 18th at 3:00pm – Paul Vermel Young Artist Competition Winner & Dvorak 8

Sunday, May 16th at 3:00pm – Natural Wonder: Rogerson – Oaken Sky & Beethoven 6

In response to the CDC and their recommendations to combat the spread of COVID-19 virus, all remaining concerts for the 2019-20 season have been cancelled. We regret that we will be unable to present these performances, but the safety of our audience, musicians, staff, and community is of the upmost importance.

In response to the CDC and their recommendations for the spread of COVID-19, the Northwest Symphony Orchestra has decided to postpone the “Natural Wonder” concert that was scheduled for Saturday, April 18th. That concert will tentatively take place on Sunday, May 17th in place of the originally scheduled “Opera in the Afternoon” concert. We are hoping to reschedule the “Opera in the Afternoon” concert for a later date in June.

If you already have tickets purchased for the April 18th concert, they will honored at the May 17th performance or can be used for a future concert this season. This performance will feature the music of Jean Sibelius, as well as the Paul Vermel Young Artist Winner, Claire Metcalf, performing the Khatchaturian Violin Concerto.
